Commissioned Paintings

I can create a unique painting of a landscape scene, an industrial setting or a building. Please contact me with your requirements. I can provide the paintings in any size from A5 to A1. I will either take appropriate reference phots or ask you to provide them. I will then supply sample sketches to see what composition best suits you. Only after we have agreed on the image / composition will I start to work on your very own commission.

Each custom acrylic painting is priced individually but as a guide

A5 Acrylic paintings are £50,
A4 Acrylic paintings are £75,
A3 Acrylic paintings are £150,
A2 Acrylic paintings are £210 and
A1 (the largest size) Acrylic paintings are £350.

Ink and watercolour paintings are either A4 or A3 size. These are priced at:

A4 Water Colour and Ink £75
A3 Water Colour and Ink £150

All prices are plus post and packaging. Collection is free.

I got involved with the Royal British legion Penarth Poppy Appeal Tree of Remembrance for remembrance day 2026 by creating three very large insignia on the large red poppies. These will be part of a larger installation representing a memorial tree.

A recent commission for a birthday present of a painting of the Menai Bridge onto Anglesey.

I know many artists do pet portraits but this was my first one, I was very pleased with the result and think it captures Frodo very well.

I was asked to create a painting for an older lady who had recently had to move into a home and as missing the view she used to get across Romilly Park in Barry out to the Seven Estuary. Here it is:

This commission was recently requested, it is a very large painting, A1 size once in the frame, and was based on a smaller piece I had previously done. This picture uses graphic pencil and acrylics.

Here is a commission for a ink and watercolour picture of Insole Court in Cardiff where a lovely couple got married back in 2024.

I have recently completed these two paintings for a Morris Minor owner who wanted to identical paintings, one for themselves and one for friends they visited in France.

This is a commission for a good friend who wanted a painting of Cearphilly Castle to complement their painting of Castell Coch, both in South Wales.

A recent commission was a bit different, a frog on a log - thanks Gryff. I had some fun playing with this one.

These commissions, and a few more I have yet to complete, were auctioned off for the Alzheimer's Society Charity and raised £560 - which was a tremendous achievement - but dwarfed by the total amount raised for the charity of £7,500 well done everyone on the Minors on Tour!

This is my latest commission for the Jaguar Enthusiast's Club South Wales Region for a prize draw of a car on the 2025 Drive Day outing in aid of Children in Need.

This commission was a location in Spain for a friends parents, as it is their favourite place in the world.

This commission was for a beautiful old moggie convertible.

Yet another gift, this time of a Jaguar XK.

This painting was commission by a son for his father, a gorgeous Triumph Stag.

I supported the Jaguar Enthusiast's club (JEC) F-TYPE Anniversary prize draw in 2023, with a prize of a portrait of an owners car. The portrait of the car produced is shown below:
